A power nap is a short nap which utilises the first two stages of sleep, and ends before the occurrence of stage 3 slow-wave-sleep (a.k.a deep-sleep). Individuals who awaken during this slow wave phase often report feeling tired, groggy and unfocused. This audio will allow you to powernap for the optimal duration and awaken you before the onset of deep sleep with a digital alarm clock recording

Use headphones, listen at comfortable volume, and try to fall asleep within the first 10 minutes. Some people can mimic the regenerative effects of a powernap through deep states of meditation, so it may not be necessary for you to actually fall asleep, but instead ‘dream awake’. It’s recommended that you experiment and find which method works best.
