About the Download

Before following the instructions below, think of a subject/problem. It can be academic, work related, or something deeply personal.  Visualise it, and write about it if you can.

STEP 1: Place a pen and paper next to your bed, or even better, a portable recorder

STEP 2: Before listening to the beat it may be beneficial to spend 5 mins relaxing the muscles in your body

STEP 3: Commence the audio (headphones required…a low volume is recommended) and allow the descending frequencies to guide you into a deep hypnagogic state.

STEP 4: Write down or record any thoughts, sounds, images etc. – there’s no need to rationally analyse these until later.

STEP 5: Inspect your notes for any clues related to the subject / creative problem outlined in step 1. These could be metaphorical in nature, or something more explicit. If you fall asleep before step 5, that’s fine, just try to record all details when you wake up. You could try setting an alarm to go off a minute or two after the audio ends.
