For those who aren’t sure what lucid dreaming is, it’s the ability to become self aware in your dreams. This lets you wake up your mind and experience whatever you want, while you’re asleep.
It’s a great feeling, and it’s actually fairly easy to learn, once you know what to practice. A really good tool or ‘helping hand’ when trying to lucid dream is binaural beats or brainwave entrainment. I’m going to share some useful tips for using binaural beats to lucid dream better and faster. Ready?
1. MAKE SURE YOUR HEADPHONES ARE STEREO
When using binaural beats, you need to make sure they’re stereo, because otherwise they won’t work! Binaurals rely on playing a different frequency to EACH ear and this won’t have much of an effect if the headphones are going to just play the SAME sound to each ear.
Also, make sure you have some comfortable headphones to sleep in if you’re going to be using binaurals when you sleep. I’ve tried to sleep on normal headphones and they’re just too rigid and uncomfortable and I eventually just take them off during the night.
2. INVEST IN GOOD QUALITY TRACKS
You know, there are a LOT of low quality binaural beats out there, and most of them simply don’t work. Make sure you take the time to invest in something that’s going to actually work. It will make a huge difference, trust me.
3. MAKE SURE YOU LEARN HOW TO ACTUALLY LUCID DREAM FIRST
Binaural beats are GREAT for lucid dreaming, meditation and a whole list of other things, but in order to really lucid dream to the best of your ability, you should probably learn how to lucid dream properly as well as using binaural beats.
There are many lucid dreaming techniques such as the Wake Back To Bed method, or the Wake Initiated Lucid Dream so you can just choose one that sounds easy and simple enough for your skill level.
4. TAKE A HOLISTIC APPROACH
Lucid dreaming is not just ONE tiny skill, it’s more the result of a mindset. A mindset and approach that can include many different things. Try and think about how to be more mindful in every area of your life.
Listen to binaural beats, but ALSO consider learning various lucid dreaming techniques, practicing meditation, trying out various lucid dreaming pills or supplements, and also trying out things like lucid dreaming masks that have been DESIGNED to help you lucid dream.
There’s a lot of technology, a lot of books, and a lot of content out there to help you lucid dream. Use it! Don’t just think of lucid dreaming as one small thing that you do every night, because the mindset of being aware or ‘lucid’ is so much more than just flying in your dreams.
5. HAVE AN OPEN MIND
Binaural beats are relatively new to the scene, and so a lot of people can be a bit skeptical. Despite countless testimonials, and many experts saying they work and are effective, many people simply don’t believe that they can work.
Change this mindset, starting now. Be open to new ideas, and be open to the idea that there are things out there that you might not understand, or even be aware of. Binaural beats CAN and will help you lucid dream, so let them do their magic!
